Hi. I did the first mission destroyed the infantry around the house got the message the target was destroyed and I could depart but the second part of the mission did not materialize. what am I missing. The mission came back as a draw. Is that a bug or is there something I am supposed to do to trigger the second part of the mission. Thanks

You did the cloverleaf wrong, you raise the nose up to a 45* roll left at 90 * change of heading roll inverted and pull through the bottom half of a loop resulting in a heading change that is 270* left of your entry heading.

I just started watching your videos. And it’s helping me a lot. DCS is awesome sim. I only have the A-10 for now. Trying to learn this thing .I’m having a hard time with Jtec coordinates . It tells me 38t 162 343 I put it in and it sends me like 500 miles away lol this is in enemy with in . But love the plane and sim

Ok so let me get this right, instead of inputting the target into cpu the tasking added is on the map. Just slew over it. Is the same thing as inputting it into cpu only shorter and easier

Weird, I bought the TTQ but I don't have any of the explanations and tips, just a corny guy screaming at me at the start and then I'm on my own. Did they just remove the content over the years or am I missing something?

You did not get him :) In the briefing it specifically said that JTAC only gives you a general area, you have to clear it out without direct feedback from the JTAC. Once you clear the area properly, a script would activate and send you to Jackal's house.

Exactly when do you conduct IFR departure? I guess most of the departures are done in VMC, but when the air space is congested or the weather is bad you do IFR departure?

Real stupid question here. It seems like you ended and right after the instructor evaluated your performance. Is there a key to tell the instructor you are done? On the first mission is stayed there with the aircraft shutdown for a while and nothing happened.

The left turn @25:50 is where I get the boot everytime! Can't hear any Abort Abort Abort! anymore.. Have flown it about a dozen times and flying VR and I lose the horizon and altitude ticker in the HUD while making the banking turns. It somehow moves out of my HUD to the left. I then automatically lose or gain too much altitude or speed too quickly.. It is driving me nuts..(*&)*&

This mission took me 14 attempts, and i thought it was going to take me a 15th! It doesn't appear to be the case in your videos, but in the missions now (2021), the first 3 targets pop smoke (even at night!) and that smoke makes the mavericks (especially the H!) not lock on target unless you come in at an angle where the smoke is not between you and the target. :| Also, if you make *any* mistakes (either miss with an invalid lock, OR you can't lock on and have to circle), the falling flares will be too low by the time you get back around, so there won't be enough light for the H's to lock either. And at least for me, the flares now are *nowhere* near as bright as in this video. i had to use flares several times on the convoy myself, and sometimes even switch to NVG to find any vehicles that got into areas with trees. I also had to "cheat" by adding a CBU to the loadout to drop on the convoy. If you miss any of the last 3 tanks with a missile, you'll waste a TON of 30mm trying to kill them. If you're having problems, you might even consider swapping out the AGM-H's for D's so you can get all of those locks with IR instead of depending on the flares. After 14 attempts, i did not feel bad about changing my loadout. these videos are SUPER helpful though, i generally try every mission at least once myself, and if i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong, then i come watch these to find out what i missed/did wrong, etc.

I'm just now finding this been flying the A-10C ii for the past few months switched from the F-18 and haven't looked back your CDU series is invaluable

I tell the wingman to follow route and then I practice formation flying with him. Otherwise it’s a pretty boring mission.

The systems page was always the thing that scared me the most. Thank you for explaining it so thoroughly.

The CDU is not a piece of machinery. It has no moving parts and doesn't do any work. It's a complicated conglomeration of current-carrying components. LOL

So this is many years later, hope you are still there. I was reading the manual yesterday and noticed that you were staying at 2500 during your entire pattern altitude but in the manual, the pattern you were flying suggests going down to 1500 on the downwind leg. Did I miss something here?

How did you get that night vision. The one that comes up when I play is just the circular monocle like the PVS-14 real life NOD. I like the way yours looks in this mission, but can’t figure out how you get that.. T

Unfortunately I have a bug in this mission stage. cpt Sable after he asks me to start the bird, he drives his Humvee to the opposite side of the parking space and he crash the Humvee against sgt Maxwell A-10C; This prevents me from progressin this stage of the mission. When I start up the plane and position myself on the runway for take off, the mission gets stuck there...
